CDMNS1 low-voltage draw-out type switch cabinet (hereafter referred to "switchgear") is developed by DELIXI, which is based on the MNS low-voltage switchgear series . The switchgear is composed of standardized, serialized modules. The drawers are equipped with reliable mechanical interlock devices, to ensure the safety and reliability during operation.The switchgear is suitable for three-phase five-wire power supply system with a frequency of 50(60)Hz, rated voltage of 380(400)V, rated insulation voltage 660V, rated current of 5000A. It can be used for power plants, power substations, industrial & mining enterprises, buildings, airports, wharf and radio & television centers, to control the power generation, power distribution, electricity transformation and power consumption. In addition, it can offer reactive power compensation for the main busbar by capacitance compensation

2. Advanced new features
2.1 Changing the blind hinges of upper ventilating door, cable-chamber door and back door into back-flap hinges makes the doors turn more stable with a larger rotation angle. Besides, it improves the whole appearance.
2.2 Before improvement, the primary transition component is connected with plastic functional component.If accident occurs, the primary transition component is easily burning out, which results in difficult maintenance and long component replacement. After improvement, the primary is installed independently, thus reduce the power service interruption time.
2.3 Primary cable outgoing of the MCC cabinets is more flexible than before. Cables go out through both side and back, while only side or back in the before.
2.4 Primary cables in 8E, 16E, and 24E drawer units can be specified according to actual currents in loops. It is convenient for local repair or alteration.
2.5 After improvement, central post is optimized to increase space for cables outgoing, to make it easy for maintenance and operation, and also retain features of DELIXI products.
2.6 After improvement,in the scheme of cables go out from back door, secondary connectors are moved from side to the back partition boards, which shortens the distance between secondary cables to the terminal, and also eliminates the troubles that inspection and repair cannot be done since the switchgears stand close together. (It happens easily in the scheme that cables go out through back door when the switchgear has a width of 600mm)
3. Working environment
3.1 Ambient air temperature ranges from +40°C to -5°C . Average temperature within 24h doesn't exceed +35 °C .
3.2 Relative humidity of ambient air doesn't exceed 50% at +40°C . Higher humidity is permissible for lower temperature, for example 90% at +20°C . However, occasional condensation may happen due to temperature change.
3.3 If the switchgear is used indoor, the elevation above sea level should not exceed 2000m.
3.4 The switchgear shall be installed at a place free of fierce vibration and impact, and without corrosion to electric elements.

4. Structural Feature
The switchgear introduces advanced technology . Based on the original structure it is improved according to the national standard. The cabinets use 25mm module of C type steel to compose various cabinet structures and drawer units. In the MCC cabinets, high strength flame-retardant engineering plastic components are used to make it more reliable. Meanwhile, improved imported functional plate is shaped in 200mm module, it makes more convenient for combining PC cabinet and MCC cabinet. The drawer units and switchgear are equipped with reliable interlock device, preventing switching off with load when power is on, thus enhance safety. Besides, the switchgear employs passivating cold rolled steel plates, or employs aluminum-zinc plates when required by customers.
5. Type of switchgears
5.1 Incoming and busbar connection switchgear
5.2 Power center switchgear (PC): Adopt domestic or foreign frame-type circuit breakers, such as CDW7, CDM7 (produced by DELIXI), MT, and E-series circuit breakers to distribute power.
5.3 Motor control center switchgear (MCC): MCC switchgear is composed of small or large drawers. Main switch of each circuit uses MCCB with high breaking capacity or rotary load switch wit fuse.

6. Type of drawer units
All the five kinds of drawer units are designed in modular structure with a height of 8E (200mm). The installation height of effective components is 1800mm. The whole switchgear is arranged more reasonable and elegant.
8E/4: 4 drawer units in parallel at 8E height.
8E/2: 2 drawer units in parallel at 8E height.
8E: 1 drawer unit in 8E height
16E: 1 drawer unit at 16E height (400mm).
24E: 1 drawer unit at 24E height (600mm)
Switchgear arrangement
Single-panel operation or double-panel operation MCC switchgear can be composed according to actual demand. Switchgear is divided into three chambers: main busbar chamber, electric appliance chamber and cable chamber.

Safety protection system
The switchgear has an anti-flaming high-density polyurethane functional plastic board, or electroplate installed between main busbar chamber and electric applicace chamber. In order to take out safety operation, this method effectively prevents flashover occurred by switch or accident caused by main busbar short circuit.
Upper and lower drawers are separated by galvanized plates with ventilating holes. Smaller 8E/4 and 8E/2 drawers have anti-fire engineering plastic parts to form strong insulation.
The switchgear adopts many kinds of plastic parts to support electrified parts. Such plastic parts shall be free of halogen and prevent current leakage with CT1300 grade.
